I had just read an article about how the American cowboy image embodies the spiritedness of Americans, that's what made me think of that. I like that spirit and I'm tired of the self-loathing that I hear constantly. I like my country and I just like to say it, if that's wrong or offensive to people, I'm sorry.

Yes, I have children in the military, no they are not in Iraq, but they could be. I have a 19 yr old going into the military in October. I have a 17 yr old daughter who is talking about it. Please, don't act like I don't understand, I think you know better than that. I was not responding to your post. I hope it wasn't you who sent me the nasty, childish email. I dont think so, but whoever it was, that says a lot.
