I was mistaken. That would be a great book to do a review on also. I remember you said you were reading it and I confused the two books.

Those are interesting questions. I just watched the HBO miniseries (we have it on DVD) called Band of Brothers. It was done by Spielberg and Tom Hanks and is excellent and extremely well done. It's about the ravages of WWII and levels of responsibility amongst the German population, army, etc. I don't think anyone has any clear cut answers and I doubt we ever will come to them.

However, I was just sitting with my 21 year old daughter yesterday bemoaning on all my failures in raising them and how I wish I would have been able to do more for them, etc. She was so sweet to say, "Well, you were just trying to do good" and "at least you know now about the things that were wrong." She was so cute to try and be encouraging.

Although things are going good now, it's so easy to look back at yesterday and feel about it. I kind of wrote a poem about that. When I find it I will post it for you to read.
