I think instead of a soapbox we should have had a punching bag board where everyone could go when they wanted to vent in any way they wished.
The ultimate venting board. And we could have had a choice of emoticons and little faces with colors that showed the level of anger.
Level 1 - beige? (not sure about this one)
Level 2 - yellow
Level 3 - orange
Level 4 - RED (watch this, posting will get hot)
Level 5 - GREEN (add envy,jealousy,etc.to anger)
Level 6 - BLUE (reaching the blue in the face
(level after which one stops
(posting, only to resume
(later, when the blue has
faded.
People who reach the blue level qualify for the opening of a new board of their own and get a free ticket to move their posting act elsewhere. Or, they can get in the Hall of Blame (As the people who blamed others most heavily and successfully for helping them get so angry and release some of their colorful....ahem, nature.)
