Dear Jewlz, I conclude that you, your sister & Lisa had it really tough...some people got really "consumed" by TF & I am surprised myself, that I
passed through that part of life in the end with quite a few advantages...I feel sorry, that it apparently left you quite wounded.I can only promise you, to listen with respect to what you have to say concerning those very particular two years.

Without wanting to appear nosy or as someone probing, yet I want to stress, that it is of interest for me, what exactly turned you off about the Bible...what rubbed you wrong? If you had the grace & time to share that here, I promise, I wouldn't jump on you with ton of verses(not even on journeys ; ) )

From my own life's experiences, may I add: I am superhappy to have a personal, satisfying relationship with the "author" of the Bible.I trust Him, explaining it to me bit by bit...and I admit, it takes long, to grasp things, also through mighty errors, but also in dialogue with others.

Yet, if they'd take that book away from me, I'd still have a very personal relationship...that is a huge difference.
