I've been reading this stuff pretty carefully, while archiving it over at NDN.
In the first announcement we all saw, Peter was already blaming ex-members, trying to set up a smoke screen.
I do have to say that the mainstream media has been kicking ass and taking names this time around. They are quoting what the Family has to say, but certainly don't seem to be buying into any of it.
It's amusing to watch how many different ways Peter can figure out work different forms of Apostate into one message. Apostate, Apostasy, Aposticism... it's enough to give one an aneurysm.
I was interested to see that the story made it outside California and Arizona this morning. I was beginning to think that it would start to fade off. I'm wondering if the AP or Reuters is ever going to pick it up.
I just think it is a tragedy in itself that it takes something this horrible to get the media to take interest what has been true all along.
