I wish you were right but it is a matter of definitions. To me, being in the family is not just deciding to stop giving them money one day, nor even giving them your attention but much more.

In my mind, leaving TFI is an action-type of event just like joining TF was an action-type of event for FGs. It includes a desire to change the ideas and behavior.

A lot has been said of people being at different stages of separation from TF. I understand the explanation but until there is a break away from TFI's teaching, there is no cleansing from filth. There are many reasons to leave TF as there were many reason for FGs to join TF. There are even more reasons to *say* one is not in TF anymore.

I would not second guess when somebody says they have left TF but I would have to see what they do about TF's teachings before I actually believe they are not in TF anymore.

Sorry, maybe others weren't but I have been burned too many times by lies.
