I picked up on that, too. Berg egged them all to join in on an imaginary gang rape. Although this may seem to be a macho thing, Berg's fantasy of a gang bang actually has homoerotic features. Many heterosexual males have difficulty sustaining arousal around other men when they are also sexually aroused--it makes them too vulnerable. Actually, many het males have difficulty sustaining arousal when a woman resists and fights back. That's because rape isn't really about sexual desire for a woman--it's about humiliating a woman through sexualized violence. IMO, a gang bang is about showing other men how big it is, how strong you are, and how much you despise women--which is why I see repressed homosexuality going on in Berg's libido. He couldn't openly accept his desire to be with other men in a sexual way except through a gang rape fantasy.
