No doubt there were many more instances like the sister crying then you are aware of. As was the case of the environment that we were in, many sisters felt it their "duty" so to speak, to make the lonely brothers happy so they would grin and bear it and try and appear cheerful. You may not have realized how many really did not want to participate but were doing it out of duty. This is coercion IMO and maybe not necessarily by you due to your ignorance at the time.

A few times when I've explained the sexual environment, sharing schedules, etc., to outside people, several men have made the comment - "wow, sounds like a man's world." And in that sense, it really was. Men, after all, are more inclined due to their genetic make up to want to deposit their seed everywhere, attachments be damned, whereas women are more inclined to be the homemakers and need the attachment. It was not particularly an environment suitable to women and children, not at that time.
