I actually believe that Jane probably never really came to the point of wanting to write memoirs to expose Berg. She's in a lot of denial, which I suppose in her case is her way of coping, as opposed to drinking like Faithy.

Jane Miller seems to have compartmentalized all of the bad things that happened. I know of other (non-Family) people who have done the same. Dragging the stuff out & dealing with it would probably give her a heart attack as you say.
I don't agree with the poster below who theorizes that Jane maybe even knew how bad Berg was before she married him. But I do think she bears a lot of responsibility.
