However, I guess that's why we have recourse to the law and courts and the media --and now the Internet-- because physically dishing back out to some of these animals what they dished out to so many, is still outside the law. Or IN the hands of the law. I know I'm not saying anything new.
And as a Christian, I believe God when he says, "Avenge not yourselves, for vengeance is mine says the Lord. I will repay." I know that this "religious" hope of evil people getting payback is a subject for Journeys, not here, and is small comfort to those who have no hope in God. However--
You have to admit that hope in the justice system is also small comfort to those who have no hope that animals will ever be brought to justice.
I'm not saying ONLY depend on the courts, nor am I saying ONLY depend on God to settle scores in the next life. There is a lot that can be done, and sites such as MovingOn, XFamily and this one are helping do that. And let's hope and pray that the new Civil Suit actually works.
