What would be a just compensation?

What amount would be realistic expectations as well as a just compensation? Do you have any experience or knowledge in these matters? I know when the Catholic church gets sued in cases like this the stated amount is in the millions but I've never really seen if that's what the victims get in the end.
Let's say for the sake of argument that the Family has enough money in its Swiss Bank accounts and let's also say just for the sake of argument that Peter and Maria decided the right thing to do would be to take all future emergency funds and hand it over to the SGs. Not likely in the second case but bear with me. How much should that be per person? And multiplying that by how many victims works out to how much total?
I'm also wondering if this compensation should cover those who were not abused but suffered a deficient education? Maybe it's unrealistic to discuss this and it's up to the SGs to discuss this if they choose to.
Has any organization that abused its own children ever paid out a just compensation?
