You're right... the reason you didn't find anything confirming the above post, is because there isn't anything there.
To my knowledge, there was no policy in TF as far as shunning, or covering up cases of AIDS, of which I understand there have been very few.
I personally know of a case in which the wife contracted AIDS via a blood transfusion. They moved out of the home to avoid contagion, but the members of the home continued to support them, assist them, etc. I also know a case in South America, where both husband and wife have AIDS, again due to a blood transfusion and they are also assisted by the home, visit, and receive help for their children as well as financial help.
All that to say, there is obviously no policy discriminating or covering up people with AIDS. If you research TFs older publications, you'll find prayer requests for the few members who had AIDS.
BTW, the previous poster said "some or all" were shunned. Which is it? Some or all? Let's stick with the facts.
