There is a lot of maybes in your post. I'm not so sure that the Family referred to on that page is The Family International, formerly Children of God? I don't see anything on that site that suggests that, but maybe I'm overlooking something.

All I see is a reference to The Family Syllabus, but that could mean anything. Maybe the course is simply on families in general, because as you say the department's interest is in the family, lower case. I certainly don't see anything that suggests your assertion is correct that the course is meant "... to deceive those in the upper ranks that oversee curriculum." Where did you get that idea from?

The clues you've presented so far don't suggest to me that the course is about TFI, though it's possible you're right about that. It does seem an odd coincidence I guess. But I can't keep myself from asking, are you really serious about your post or are you perhaps just trying to stir things up? That's happened here before, and the speculative nature of your post got me wondering. If I'm wrong about that, sorry in advance.
