Would a simple declaration that they decry Berg and Zerby as false prophets, some kind of major distancing of themselves from the group and its beliefs suffice?
We're opening up a whole can of worms when we think to judge how genuinely out someone is. A lot of people get out and then still half believe in Berg and Zerby for a few years before finally giving up on them. Eveyone's exit process is different. What I'm trying to say is we can't possibly judge these things. We are left to take their word, the word of others, as well as look obvious signs they really out or still in bed with the Family.
For one thing, I would take a firm stand that continuing to do business with the FCF is not kosher. The fee they collect supports leaders in hiding from prosecution, among other things. If the organization in Perm could wean themselves from the FCF, which was no small task, anyone else can do it and find another way.
