I think the fact that Jo Ann says below that "every" FG in the Family would have the same situation, and keeps trying to normalize the situation and equalize the entire field tells me that it is difficult to come to terms with the fact that not everybody has had their experience.

Not "EVERY" adult in TF has crossed certain thresholds, (thank god or it would be even a worse nightmare) some in fact tried to protect others in their close environments and vicinity and spoke against certain practices, and got in severe trouble for it. Of course then there is the fact that many left if things took them to a point where they had to harm their own children or even other's children. Some chose not to be in leadership and even refused to go certain places where they thought things may be more out of control.

I think it is important to see these distinctions because saying that "it is all the same," that every adult was the same or is guilty of the same is probably part of the trauma itself.
