Before 86 were the parents responsible for the upbringing...in case of local or higher leadership, they had childcarehelpers...a total different "scene" are the WS-homes...with "more obedience"...I was very briefly in one/getting closed and even there the parents took care of their kids
It seems to me, that it also depended a bit on the field-situation...May be a prejudice, but I have the feeling, that in Latin America some things could have been worse???
Although in "not without my sister" it becomes clear, that for teens the abuse or potential abuse
in India/Asia was the same...single brothers on the road to be specific.
What I meant to say with that is...what I often said...that for the time before the Combos there were the parents responsible for their children, unless in leadership position...and then one would have to ask:my parents abusers??
