The Family International, as you know, ordered the burning of controversial pubs, in part and in whole. The primary motivation was protecting themselves from prosecution and liability. In their PR statments, TFI try to sell the pub purge as a kind of "retraction." In their internal statements however, they have explained that the pubs were removed from public view due to incovenience, not because they thought there was anything intrinsically wrong with the teachings.
It is standard practice for TFI to try to hide the record of what they taught and did and attempt to rewrite history. For instance, they would get on public forums and vehemently deny that Berg had ever taught his followers to prostitute themselves, until someone shut them up by producing proof, citing the "Make It Pay!" Mo Letter.
Much of what we have in our Pubs section was obtained from the electronic version of their sanitized pubs, making it difficult for researchers to document what really went on. The FF Mo Letters for example, are all missing.
The good news is, I now have access to the original printed ML volumes, including the FF volume. I would like to ask for your help in listing anything that you think is important to scan and put online. Please slip in your requests now, as I wish to work on this for a limited time only.
