That was briefly brought up before here and having visited some of the informing sites myself...I have my doubts, that those two organisations share anything more than their names...may be TFI is aware of that and "insists" on The Family international??...in their own description...when before they just abided by The family in their pubs...to my memory...(poor at many times... : ( )

But then you never know....both seem to have a liking for secracy/dominionism...plus TFI's then influence in the Philippines or whatever the French intelligence servise is supposed to have found...on the other hand TFI appears at the bottom less rich than those guys it talks about in The Family...TFI/COG used to term them once or even now "kings"

You called that approach of yours .research...may be you can further inquire and let us know here??
(Plus...TFI is not only interested in "Washington" one might object too...they always emphasized, they are interested in souls saved...but they don't mind earthly influence either...if it comes their way)
