I could’t agree more with you on that.

When responding to input, I’d say taking information at face value is imperative. There is no good reason not to do so.
Giving ourselves wiggleroom to read between the lines and then responding to that will most of the time then merely be a response to our own prejudice and lively imagination.

However, it puzzles me that you should make such a point because I don’t have entirely unambiguous experience in this field… namely also from coordinators. The explanation to this is probably that there may be a few different coordinators who see differently on these things…(?)
