I was never able to read through very many of the reboot publications, too much to read and too repetitive, so I appreciated how this article sums things up.

Gordon and Gary Shepherd remain true to form: "David Berg was responsible for introducing and encouraging virtually all of the sexual innovations and excesses into TFI, and this legacy will likely cling to him in spite of his other, positive accomplishments, even for successive generations of TFI members."

When I read that, I thought, what "other positive accomplishments"? And I thought of an answer: In 1971 I was a very strung out drug addicted hippy, and I don't really know how I would have ended up, maybe dead, it I hadn't met the Children of God. I stopped using and joined a commune where life was fun, and I wasn't the only one. That falls into the positive category.
