That's the name of my kittygrrl, a tuxedo ragdoll cat I got in 1999 after finishing a miserable part of my life in graduate school. She is like a child to me and my partner-mate-husband.
I loved the whole weekend discussion about pets that Jo started. I go away many weekends, but catch up on Mondays. The dog stories and pictures were great and gave me a boost at the start of my day Monday. Many thanks to Tazy for turning readers on to dogster.com, which has a companion site called catster.com. I'm going to register Ondine and more of her pictures on that site later this week.
So here's our Boo (aka Boo-ber, Boo-bird, Boo-Leonne), which is the catroot-name my lover gave her, and the story of her peaceful rest on the cushion of a ladder-back chair in a country kitchen.
