For me these boards have been hugely important because it's been the only place I could come to to get certain specific things off my chest.
Especially things that have to do with recovery from the Family.
I have a friend who was a Jehovah's Witness. I was able to talk to her about some of my experiences in the Family. She could relate to it. I don't try to tell anyone anything about that past if they haven't experienced something common to mine.
