I really like your description of how to live a life of faith, it's simple, down to earth, personal, and it's all there in a nutshell. I see it the same way.
The only difference I have is that I when I think of my higher power, or God, I don't think in terms of "the Lord". One of my favorite concepts is the Great Creator, I also like thinking of God in terms of, as you say, the Energy or Spirit.
I'm happy, comfortable and serene with the place I'm in now, it just that at this point in my journey, to conceptualize that Energy in the Jesus story, doesn't work for me. (I'm only speaking for myself, I respect everyone whose faith is in Jesus.)
