The wikipedia page has been heavily edited by TFI members with too much time on their hands, fighting revert wars. Every time anyone puts something accurate and truthful they change it back to something even more misleading. I would recommend the history section on this site which seems to have been updated a whole lot recently www.exfamily.org/hist/ or this less detailed page www.exfamily.org/children-of-god/
