Gee, lighten up. You obviously didn't see the emoticon ;) I put at the end of my first sentence, to indicate a wink. That is, I wasn't making a serious criticism of you when I said "I don't care that you don't care..." It was meant tongue-in-cheek, but I don't know the emoticon for that.
It's interesting that you say "... but it doesn't make the Catholic church a cult." The first two health professionals that I told about being in a cult, independent of each other, both asked me exactly the same thing when I first mentioned cult. They said, "What do you mean by cult. The Catholic Church is a cult."
I understand the distinction you're making about highly destructive cults. You're "preaching to the choir" so to speak.
