Interesting article. Just like the words "cult" and "fundamentalist," there is also a need to define what is meant by "conservative" and "liberal." There's a difference between social conservative and political conservative, although this distinction has gotten lost in recent years, especially for people who are socially liberal and politically conservative, eg, Libertarians, or socially conservative and politically liberal, aka, the current crop of Big Government Republicans.
