That is the way it is with chaplains in and out of the military. They are non-denominational. They do have Catholic and protestant chaplains. There are also Muslim chaplains. I explored the possibility of being a chaplain after I graduate, but came to find out I could not meet the requirements. All chaplains must have at least a masters degree, I will only have a lowly BS. Also I'm way too old, they want young whippersnapper pastors to start out in the chaplaincy service.
