Sounds just like the family and the differences among classes where the upper layers can judge the lower layers but not the other way around. The little people seldom had means to report abuse or bad leadership. Come to think, many of us never did know what abuse or bad leadership was. We were too idealistic while the pragmatic were in their cliques and groups planning some of their own agenda to take advantage of the system.
