That makes my skin crawl. I can't believe that our leaders are still sending human beings out for cannon fodder. Its unbelievable that they haven't yet come up with a civilised way to manage disputes other than hand to hand combat. Doesn't it strike anyone else as bizarre?
(Please note I am not critising the war or the troops just making an observation about war in general) I saw the doco Dear America (about Vietnam War) the other day and it made me so sad.
