I have the same reservations about this topic. I tried to keep my mind on the spiritual side of the problems I see. It is difficult because there are too many connections to the way things were done in TF, we were supposed to align blindly (bizarrely?) behind people who told us what was right. It was a spiritual battle then. I have often wondered if this is also a similar spiritual battle between the warmongers and the peacemakers, whoever they end up being.
