No, I don't believe that the universe was created by a random assembly of molecules and atoms. I don't have any beliefs right now on how the universe was created. I am simply of the belief that whatevery theory you choose to believe requires equal amounts of faith to accept. If I were to spend a few years deeply entrenched in the studies of evolution I'm sure I could discover enough scientific evidence to support it, and the same for many of the Christian view of history and our origins.

I would not diss a Christian for their beliefs on creation, god and etc, just as I would neither diss a Buddhist, Hindu or athiest. Each person has a unique set of beliefs and they are entitled to it and as far as I'm concerned, there is no one truth, other than what can be proven physically, the rest is up to you and what you have the 'faith' for or are personally convinced is right.
