Actually, you didn't offend me, I had to defend something or rather clarify something...in the end, it's important, what I get of it & the nice thing is...many many...millions through the ages made similar experiences than me & the ones I got to know of same faith...I really treasure those people, having deep fulfilling conversations with'm...otherwise I'd be a
"weird" peg, fitting nowhere & that made me search...I was lost & found...yeah, that makes me very happy
By the way the Thompson chain reference Bible (studybible...I have the German version) isn't so straight on at headlining the prophecy of Daniel
9:25 with "time of his birth"...it rather signals the time of His death...but somewhat indirectly his birth or even His baptism...probably it's wrong even in the English version?!
The kings ediction/allowance for Nehemia to rebuild the walls came in 445 B.C.(from what I know) 69 years of seven(=weeks) amount to 483 years... 483 minus 445 results in
38...our calendar is wrong by at least 4 years (mistake about the real year of the death of Herod) and the taxation under Quirinius can have taken place either 8 or 7 years "B.C."...hence Jesus must have been already "then on earth"...many scholars accept 7 B.C. as the year of His birth & the time of His death would therefore be around 30/31...Also John the Baptist started his ministry according to Luke 3:1 in the 15th year of emperor Tiberius, which is 28/29 A.C....now since it's accepted, that Jesus was crucified on friday...the preparation day before the sabbath...we have to search in history for a timeperiod where the preparation day for the sabbath fell together with the preparation day of the passover...because the NT calls that sabbath a big one, a great one...sabbath & passover...2 feasts in one so to speak....but that happened either 30 A.C. or 33 A.C. the latter date is unrealistic for the period of His ministery was shorter.Daniel 9:26 clearly says, that after those 69 "weeks"(years of seven)...483 years after rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, the messiah, the anointed, the prince, will be cut off.
Too clear to be true?????
From that you could conclude...if I may strongly
hint at it...that Jesus wasn't a phantom, a fiction...sorry, but you got that pretty wrong.
(Plus, that is not the only fulfilled prophecy...sigh)
