By the way, the Christians were termed/denoted/described as atheists themselves, cause they wouldn't give reverence to the then dominating pagan gods...thought, that'd be worth mentioning.
Susie, some shoes definetely don't fit in life & we can't wear them...some labels don't fit as well or don't come close enough...however some labels come in the way of "foreign lingo" & only loose their "threat" by getting deeper into its meaning... just a hint, that you might wanna google about it, if the wikipedialink is not sufficient enough...if I have time, I also look into it....not to fix you a "good label" for the fun of it...but you might wanna know how to describe yourself, similar of saying: I am Australian etc....if you allow that analogy
