Sorry, in what regard have the quotes of the wikipedia-page anything to do with your not liking to be called - for the lack of anything better yet - atheist? I thought, you said you can't be against something, which for you is not there...if God happened not to be there...he could be absent or nonexistant...the agnostics are not decided, but it seems you are...did I miss anything?...

The whole URL was just included of me, so that you could feel a little more "comfortable" about the
"title"...since it comes closest to what you "reveal" of yourself...as you're not an anti-theist, as another "title" goes...

I think for communication's sake we shouldn't
needlessly complicate matters...once you had the "label" child of God & tossed it somewhere in the history-bin & if atheist doesn't 100% fit, well then you can toss it also into the bin.

I realise, that you said, it's something personal for you(religion that is)...however from the way you come across, please don't be too much offended, it has it's similitude with atheism ...anyther way would be saying Susan X's religion...but to me staunch positivists, materialists etc. have no religion & therefore if they are really convinced of what they are saying/thinking, then the journey-board makes little sense in my opinion...we went through that before, but I think journeys is a religious board or the most religious of all, unless on Academics someone wants to get into deep theology etc (I actually wonder a bit about that board...groan...)

Not that I don't want to converse with atheists, but they're simply a-religious in my opinion...I think Buddhism is for a staunch materialist way to spiritual...that's my opinion.Of course I see the need also for atheists to share about their journey... my old stance was, that GenX was the board for those..now it doesn't seem to matter anymore...I really don't mind, but I have - I admit - trouble with people, who don't wanna "out themselves" in such a "silly little matter"..

Personally I get a bit offended, if someone hides too long his personality traits...I like directness, openness, fairness, clarity...So please don't mind, if I am very open about that...
I admit, that I am a follower of Jesus, so have the heart to admit, that you're a follower of "nothing" ; )
