Please do tell me from your experience, how many people meditating or whatever...seeking the solitude somewhere...remain in that solitude "forever"...they still seek people of equal, similar mind, mostly (not even Buddha remained "single" - nor most of todays Buddhists)...I used to be on that "trip" & realised, I needed others...I do know some, who sought the extreme solitude & were sought out by others...that's where I claimed, that it sooner or later leads people (of like "feather") together.
I guess you could start the religion of the fruitcakes - not super spiritual - but then I'd say it's rather a society...how could you worship a fruitcake.I mean, a "solid" religion is buid upon the spiritual or draws from the spiritual side & obviously it has to do with the inner/internal.(Sceptics by the way are "weak" in the regard of the evidence of external things)
Now for a Christian, the outer comes to the inner even becomes more & more the inner & it's not something dormant there all the time.For us without God there wouldn't be internal neither external.
