No, Francoeur is not a moral relativist or an "anything goes" philosopher. When he's not being a biologist & human sexuality researcher (a scientist), he's a Jesuit priest. If he tows the line of Catholic moral doctrine--and I suspect he does, he's a far cry from "kids are sexually needy and we adults should help them out." On the other hand, he is pushing the science envelope on human sexuality, and this may very well fly in the face of long-held doctrine. E.g., homosexuality is not a choice, it's an innate disposition strongly influenced by genetics and environmental conditions in the womb.
