I'm confused. You didn't read the article, which is about the harm caused to homosexuals by Christians of a certain persuasion, yet your post is mostly just a condescending rebuttal to gay rights activists, even though you claim the basis of your post is to challenge a stereotype of evangelicals. Your attitude towards homosexuals (hate the sin, love the sinner) is a familiar one and hardly enlightened.
