Is it still a hobby if you make money at it? If yes, is it a hobby if you really love your full-time paying job? Just asking.
I have a neighbor who makes scale model trebuchets (catapults) and sells them on the net. And another makes picture frames from scrap wood from mills. He's discovered that a fungus on a particular type of wood leaves beautiful patterns. He's figured out how to preserve the patterns, making his frames unique. He says he sells about 2000 a year all over the world on the net.
