Thanks Farmer, Mark, Helpful and HeatRash for your insights. I'm not sure what i believe anymore regarding biblical accuracy in predicting the future of mankind and/or the planet, but i try to be tolerant of others as I scrutinize my own beliefs post-family. It is hard tho to respect the beliefs of those who eagerly anticipate the destruction of the planet that i alternatively hope my grandchildren may enjoy oneday.
I think too, that these religion based articles and opinions that disregard environmental causes mostly push people away from anything religous by thier own head in the sand arrogance. Unfortunately the nature of belief often seems to be that one wouldn't even stop to consider.. "What if i'm wrong??".
