Yeah, so much for the wisdom of Russell's (can't people find a "better" atheist?....he didn't get too far in "completing" his fundamental work with Whitehead, wasn't it?) - followers...what is clear though, is, that you should get some extra lessons in exegesis....because it's quite clear to me, that He didn't mean His immediate return or can't you "immagine" a different interpretation of the above quoted verses???One interpretation is given in John itself, although John, the apostle obviously died....but Jesus did appear to John in revelation....at least that is my take of the whole thing.Some websites are full of so called contradictions in the Bible, when it just happens to be the thoughts of people too lazy to search for an alternative in the interpretation, which fits the whole picture.I guess you haven't tried enough.
