heck, "alcoholism" is quite laid back, but i don't see how that makes it a good arbiter of truth!
the bible does present some bad news b4 it gets to the good news, that is true. but it's story is that the big news is based in ultimate good, which got wacked out by some poor choices (doggone freewill can be a real trip!), but the Good , out of his goodness, has a plan. it is not that reality itself is "maya", or to be escaped... God called creation "very good" and promises it's restoration. even in this fallen world the original goodness shines thru often (TG!).. the differences or major, and ESSEN-tial.
clearly binladen, Jesus, mo, etc. are NOT all coming from the same God heart. to me, that is precisely the point, and why the search for truth is important, and cannot be simply waved off w/ a relativistic "all religions are the same."
at least it seems so to me.
