I'll make no "Christian" comment on global warming as I believe it is more of a scientific poltical debate than theological. After 3 years in a pentecostal university Global warming has never been a topic of discussion, debate or study. Ther are diverse opinions from different scientists, and I believe the jury is still out. Global warming is not moving me but this song is. Wish I could sing it online.
The River: Cindy Morgan
Oh my brother I know you’re out there
With all your burdens and heavy loads
You’ve been traveling down this highway
For so long, for so long
Oh my sister I know you’re crying
‘Cause you fell lost in your soul
When you’re empty Jesus can fill you
All that he asks is you come home
Chorus: Come on and meet down by the river
And let’s dive in like children do
And let our troubles wash to the father
He’ll wash you clean and make you new
Father, mother, son and daughters
We’re all searching for that peace that can fill us
And then reveal to us the sweet forgiveness we all need
Repeat Chorus
The blood the flowed from Calvary is in the river still
His cleansing blood will wash and clean you if you only will
Repeat Chorus
He’ll wash you clean and He’ll make you new
