I don't know whether you realised it, but there was a time, where Christians didn't seek at all to join any army in the world...early times of Christianity...furthermore there are testimonies of Christians, how they behaved when at wartimes they were forcibly drafted...
Do you realise, that your lines of arguments are just as easily woven as the patterns of your opponents? It would be good if you chilled about that...your line of attack/defense doesn't impress me very much either...who is a Christian & who isn't - as I already said many times - isn't me to judge...at the same time you resent people reminding you of purges of Stalin, Pol Pot Mao & the like (I had Hitler included...but you count him as "Catholic)
The danger is in man(kind), religious or not...although I'd say Buddhists tend to be being fairly peaceful, that isn't a guarantee for no wars in those areas either...plus you have some abuse in those monasteries too...who's a real Buddhist then?
Finally what consolation do you have for people being abused by atheists??
