No, I wouldn't agree that Arafat's response is justified, or the response of the Hammas terrorists.
And yes, you could apply the logic of 'countries become redefined' to the Palestinians, but I guess my hope is that in this more so-called 'advanced' age there could be a more peaceful sort of solution? But since neither side actually seems willing to give or take, it would either require a dictator (the AC? or even Jesus?) to decide the lines and tell the people where they can or cannot live without having a continual war over the land.
Now what would the Americans do if the American Indians banded together and decided to reclaim their lands? Surely the American people would not tolerate it? I am suprised the Indians have been content to the few parcels of property alloted to them, but at least it is some sort of peaceful compromise between a conquering nation and its conquests.
