I've been in a combative mood for about the last three years or so due to a variety of circumstances in my life. I'm this way with everyone, in person or online. I haven't singled you out for special treatment. ;) It's just that on these boards I've become accustomed to a certain response to my posts, regardless of their content, so I usually come here with my back up, ready for battle.

I'm also very impatient and have a voracious appetite for knowledge, after subsisting on the starvation "diet" of only the Bible and Berg's writings for a good chunk of my life. So when I post something here, by the time people respond I've already moved on to something else, and I get impatient when I then attempt retroactively to try and explain the intent behind my original post.

As for threatening your beliefs, I wasn't referring to you as I have no idea whatsoever what those are. I was referring to those people who seem threatened by posts of mine that express a different world view than theirs. They seem threatened to me because they seem unable to let expressions of unbelief go unchallenged, but feel the need to witness their faith in response to my unbelief. Perhaps it's that reminder of my cult past (witnessing) aimed at me that is partly behind the combative or unfriendly nature of some of my posts.
