One thing, for years we were TSers and lived on our own and I had the same job for years. In many ways it was like we were out of TF bot our connection with TF was that we sent in our tithe. We read some of the publications and had some "fellowship" with people in TF that were here local. When we finally decided to break the monetary contact with TF after finally waking up and being completly disgusted with them it was not a big deal or traumatic, we just did it. The Sun. after we made the decision to break all ties with the family we got involved with a church albeit to begin with as observers. There was that stigma about churches. It was around 6 months later that I went on treatment for hep-c which was life altering. It was at that time I actually discovered this website.I had a lot of time on my hands as because of the treatment I was unable to work, I was on disability, and the most I could was lay or sit around. I layed in front of the TV and sat at the computer. This website was an eye opener for me. It was also during the year I spent dis-abled that I waas shown to go to Bible college and study for the ministry when I was able to. (Short form of the story)Anyway having hepatitis, going on treatment, and being disabled were pivitol in my post family life. For me my ilnnes was a great blessing to put me on the road I am on now. I started treatment 4 years ago and it lasted a year. T started university 3 years ago and wil be graduating this Dec. 8 my 55th birthday. Being a former cult member is really part of my ministry and testimony of waht can happen in one's life. I have an awsesome life.
