I think that is a super important point, the labelling. If e.g. thunder & lightening was the throwing of "spears" of some Godhead in the ancient & younger times, it now got some "scientific label"/explanation...the electrical discharge & sure you can produce something similar in a laborartory of applied science...that doesn't mean to say, that science now knows where electricity & particles come fom, they are there...the "funniest" thing is, that many atheist hold on to that very strange sigularity:
The world appeared out of nowhere, by sheer nothingness & we all disappear into nothingness.
Well, if that is the case...I like to know, why people get so hyped up about morals??Oh, yes..it makes them "feel better" in their existence now...ok it makes me feel much better to believe in God....it's also called opportunism...something evolutionists make plenty use of... IMO you could also term it as egoism....something I need...I don't know what somebody else really needs, but what the heck do
agressive atheists know what I need? They are more than presumptious, they're as arrogant as they claim the religionists to be & in that they're mostly/often right.
What is more, that many of the ardent proponents of atheism don't hold too much of any degree in the fields of Physics, mathematics or chemistry...moreover, it would take at least a PHD in all those fields...plus some in biology & what have you...for the more scientists really know, they realise, that they don't really have a clue.
We're still waiting for the super formula of combining all the fiel-theories & whatever else there is.If anyone here has really understood the duality of light...please post something...not, that the phenomena exist, but how that is plausible. For me it serves though as a nice metaphor in the meantime.
I am tired of reading halfbaked articles/posts/reports, claiming that science made this & that quantum-leap...never heard of scepticism?...sure there are the positivists & they are around for quite some time...including the materialists of yesteryears who claimed, that's all material/matter interacting.Funny, do all the very educated mathematicians, physicists believe/think that?Oh, it means, the atheistic scientists are smarter than the agnostic/ believing/sceptical
scientists?
All those a. scientists managed so far is, to relabel continously through new observations what is at the core of the discussion.
Take the mem-theory...once it was the inner being, the psyche, the soul, now they wish to call it mems....just because they found some brain-activity by observing something, it doesn't mean "mirroring" is an explanation in itself. It's obvious that I feel something deep inside, if I see a very romantic movie...people being sweet & tender to each other...observing a kiss is highly emotional....do I need a brainscientist to "prove" that to me?No...I knew it before & I am not so keen to know, which brainarea is activated. And yes, they observed the brainactivity of people praying & meditating...is that important to me?Only to little degree....I profit from it...do I need to know more, some more science-labels?Not that I know of...
May I ask what did the first mirror-neuron/mem (?)copy. There are some scientists, like the numerical engineer, computer scientist Prof Dr.W. Gitt, who criticises the very same thing.Information/communication theory has it, that you have to have a sender & a recipient. You can't receive information without a sender, some first infomation, that's why it's pretty irrelevant, whether scientists cracked it down to the atomic or subatomic level. It still begs the question, where did the particles come from...mass equals energy...where the energy came from...answer by the a.scientists: out of nowhere, by nothing....oh, great...we have no energy crisis.
Or in other words, where did the first information
come from?
Talk about faith....it take a lot of (non) faith,
to believe all that.I can understand, if people out of deep disappointment distance themselves from religion, but this agressive atheism is just continuing there, where they thought the religionists where wrong...pitiful people.
