"I used to be super impressed by Mother Theresa ... but ... she ... avoided strictly the preaching of the gospel"

She wasn't too impressed with herself either. Maybe she didn't preach the gospel because she didn't believe in it?
Regarding Amos O'Test. He is an American. The way I heard it from his own mouth, he was a part-time preacher working in an ammunition factory (Vietnam war was still on) when Berg and gang came to his town and he left all to follow them. This was very early on, before Berg had conceived of FFing, and when I heard his story from him was also before FFing. Anyway, we were all "lured" into the cult, some by sex some by other promises.

I guess its possible, that years later while in Australia and after FFing was a formal policy he retold his story to more factually represent how he joined, i.e., that he really was FFed. Either that or he sexed-up his joining story to make him seem a more revolutionary follower of the letters.
