I came across this fascinating story of one person's escape from the cultic clutches of an Assemblies of God church (didn't Berg have something to do with them once?). With accounts of coercion, indoctrination, isolation, corporal punishment, exorcisms, home-schooling, the Protocols, spiritual elitism, PTSD, the long road to recovery, etc., etc., it reads almost exactly as if it were from someone escaping TF instead of a mainstream church.
