Thank you, Dear CB, I have listened to it & think
to have sung some time back either that song or another of Paul Gerhard in church some time ago; he is may be the most famous/known text/song writer of the German protestant church.

I must look in the internet to hopefully being able to present my most favourite classical piece..no vocals...the Canon in D-Dur of Johann Pachelbel (1706), it's e.g. arranged with flute & guitar by Simeon & John, but the version I still like the best is flute/recorder & piano arranged by Hufeisen.
Something I listened to a dozen to hundreds of times. The thrill is amazing to me...for me flute/recorder reminds me of birds...and birds have wings and (most) can fly...that soaring high, breaking through, after a very mellow, soft,
"little depressed" beginning is for me the highlight of that Canon.

I regret, that I didn't know/learn more about music...I think I resented the hard study/praticing etc....I am glad my children know plenty more as me, as I think music is such a divine help in life (although it can also be a burden, if not discerned) and I am happy that we have so many very good musical talents old & young in the little church/congregation I go to & which I have learned to love & appreciate for the last 8 years.

I get back to it some time later...must go...however I wish you a very happy/blessed christian passover time.
